Monsterpod – the ultimate camera stand

Monsterpod

Made from Viscoelastic Morphing Polymer this camera stand can form a temporary bond to over 1000 surfaces.  Not only would this be great for self portraits but this would be amazing for taking low light photos.  This picture alone says it all, the damn camera is stuck to a tree!!  Check out MonsterPod here.  I’m definitely interested in this one (via:Engadget)

Opticslimm12plus_2

I suppose this sort of scanner is aimed at business men and sales men that are ALWAYS on the go. Looks nice, its small and can run of USB.  If I needed one I’d probably get one btu it seems it can only scan A4 size documents. Get one here for 1$120 USD. (via:Gizmodo)

Aquavision Waterproof LCD TV

Aquavision_bathroom_lcd_tvs Wait isn’t Aquavision a videogame producer?? Anyhow this TV is marketed for the people who like taking LONG ASS baths or showers.  These LCD’s come in several flavours sporting both 4:3 and 16:9 formats.  A nice touch is that the screens are heated so that they won’t steam up and the TV remote floats.  My question, unless your installing these units in a new home, how are you suppose to wire cable into the bathroom??  I’ll pick up one of these TV’s when they make a waterproof console and matching floating controllers.  Read more here (via: Gizmodo)

Vision Station 3D Hemispherical Display – now that's immersion

3d So the idea of VR is still a bit far fetched in my opinion and your LCD panels can only get so big, but a hemisphere display! Now that is immersion.  Basically this display works in the same way as a projector, the difference being your display surface. I could see this being an amazing experience for FPS games.  But I am curious as to what sort of resolution gamers will be getting.  Read more here, product page here (via: Gizmag)

Sega mobile phones!

Segasa800i001 Ok so this is a Japan exclusive for NTT Docomo, but it seems Sega is going to make mobile phones.  I suppose they’ll be packed with mini games, now my big speculation is will this be Sega’s first step into researching a return to hand held gaming? Game Gear 2?? (via: Gizmodo)

Kodak’s V570 Dual Lense Digi-cam

Kodak_easyshare_v570_1

This is pretty cool, 1 lenses for zoom 1 lenses for wide angle.  It’s a great idea but at the same time I’m a bit disappointed. When I first saw pictures of this I thought it was a lomo like lense for more fun and creative photos but it’s a very functional camera instead, but it does look REAL nice.
