Rollertoaster - A breakfast center piece

Rollertoaster

This is definately a toaster that you wouldn't want to hide away in the kitchen if you decided to get one.  Thing restaurant industrial toaster that has a sleek look of a compact scanner and you got the Rollertoaster designed by Jaren Goh.  You can check it out here, from what I can tell though it doesn't seem to be commercially available just yet.

This would make your otherwise uneventuful breakfast session into something magical, as long as you can keep the kids fingers out of this toaster I'm sure children would have a riot with this thing.  Somehow this thing just feels like your cooking toast instead of putting bread in a toaster. Ice Cylinders

IcecylinderThis is a cleaver idea.  Everyone likes interesting ice cubes, but these cylinders are by the far the most interesting looking, and potentialy most practical.  No more stuffing your warm bottle of whatever into the freezer, then drinking slushie for the next 2 hours.  Just pop in a few of these ice cylinders and your bottled drink should be cool in no time.  Product page here  (via: Oh!Gizmo)

TurboTap, pours 4 times faster, 30% more efficient

Turbotap

I used to be a bartender so I have a passing interest in something like this.  The Turbo Tap developed by Matthew Younkle pours beer at 4 times the speed of a normal tap and is capable of increasing a kegs yield by 30%.  That’s a lot of beer, and too a bar a lot of profit!  Now this cost benefit will never get passed onto the customer unfortunately but this is still interesting stuff none the less, basically by pouring faster there is less excessive foaming and therefore less beer wasted.  Read more here (via: Gizmag)

NicoShot: Beer with Nicotine

Smokingcigaretteandbeerinpintglassajhd

I’ve almost entirely quit smoking. The only time I really smoke is when I drink.  So I speak from experience when I say that if you smoke, when you have a beer, you just have to have a smoke! German company Nautilus made a new beer called NicoShot. NicoShot containts 6.3% alcohol per 250ml can and 3 cans is the equivalent to 1 pack of cigarettes in nicotine. I guess that means for hardcore smokers that are trying to quit they can become drunks! Sorry boss I have to drink while at work my doctor told me to stop smoking, Cheers! Read more here (via:Gizmodo)

Ben & Jerry Ice Cream Lock!

BenjerrypintlockThis really is the consumer age of useless stuff that seems like a really good idea.  This lock was specially designed to fit Ben and Jerry Pints of ice cream.  Basically if you live in a dorm and you’re worried about other dorm mates thieving your ice cream, then slap one of these babies on your Ben & Jerry’s and sleep easier at night.  Just don’t forget your combination! Product page here (Via: Gearlive)

Chocolate ingredients fight cancer??

Chocolate_bars Wow I’m no cocoa fan but it seems that stuffing your face with chocolate might be good for you. Pentameric procyadin, which can be found in cocoa, turns off proteins that will spur the out-of control division of cancer cell.  This study is being funded by all the chocolate giants of the world (Mars, M&M & Snickers). Can you imagine if the study is proven to have decisive findings? Eat chocolate, it will ruin your teeth but at least you won’t die of cancer!  But before you start making excuses for yourself, its just cocoa not all the other crap in the candy bars.  Read the Georgetown University findings here.  (Via: Boing Boing)
