PSP isn't exactly my GO TO console of choice. In 2007 asides from CRUSH and the year before that Lumines. I can't really think of much that made me play my PSP until the batteries ran dry. It seems however that Sony is making a big push for 2008, with a strong PS3 line up and now the dev kit for PSP games pricetag cut in half. At first this may seem like a brilliant idea, but as pointed out by Kotaku here, there is going to be a whole load of crap coming out on the PSP as a result.
Years ago I bought a Saturn over a Playstation and every time I went to buy games with my friends during high school I would get it shoved in my face that PS had 10 new releases vs the 1 or 2 for the Sega Saturn. Thing is over the course of a month there were maybe 2-3 games worth playing on the Saturn and perhaps only 1 for the Playstation. I HOPE that indie developers can come up with some amazing ideas for simple game and that the PSP becomes my GO TO console, but as it stands at the moment. Asides from Patapon there isn't much I'm excited about on PSP this coming year.
