I am a self confessed XBOX convert. I bagged the hell out of XBOX, and now I'm proud owner of a 360. As soon as the price of an American version of Wii drops in price in my neck of the woods I will continue with my Nintendo Fanboy status.
But this is just landmark, when i first heard of this game, there were rumors of it being cross platform, i know your thinking there are plenty of games cross platform, but then I read that it was going to be Vistas and 360 cross platform and you'll be able to play LIVE against eachother. @!#!@#@!#!!
This is just nuts, and at the recent CES07 they had the game on display, running in a match of Vistas VS 360. The reason that this is landmark is for once and for all, the argument of dual analog vs keyboard and mouse will come to an end. You just know with all the money being pumped into this game that MS is going to make sure its the next big thing at the World Cyber Games. At which point all you have to do is see what platform the finalist are playing and FINALLY we will all know which control scheme is better.
As a recent convert to the 360, I must admit for FPS and 3rd Person Shooters the 360 controller is sweet, BUT nothing compares to the mouse and keyboard. If I were a betting man my money would be on PC's winning out! Guess we'll all have to wait till Spring 2007 to find out!
