This Sony All in One TV looks pretty sweet. Reminds me of the B&O TV and DVD in one. If your setting up a bachelor pad, you definately will choose looks over a lot of things. With this package you get yourself a flat screen 32 inch with a DVD player and a hifi all in one. The kicker is that its Sony so your pretty much going to get quality stuff across the board. Generally all in one's scare me but if your apartment is cramped for space and you really want that WOW factor this is the unit for you. Due out in October in a variety of colours, keep your eye out for this one. Read more here (via: Engadget)

Carlo Rossi is a wine maker and interior designer. As you can imagine with that sort of combination the man found some use for all his extra wine bottles and jugs making furniture and what not. The most interesting thing that can be found on his site however is a set of instructions on how to make a 5.1 speaker system out of jugs. Looks a lot like those JBL speakers that all Mac phanatics use. Check out Carlo Rossi here (via:Makezine)

Everyone is always looking for that cool piece to sit on your coffee table or something besides the TV so sit in your wall unit. 'AntWorks' which is made up of a space ages gel acts as a habitat and source of food for your ants. It would have been cooler if the gel was some sort of glow in the dark goop, but there is a series of blue leds that shine through the gel to bug the hell out of your ants. At US $30 its decently priced to be a piece of living art in your pad. Get one here, Ants no included. (via:Product Dose)

Seems that after the Million Dollar Homepage miracle of online advertising. Amsterdam is trying the same thing, for about 10 Euros per tile you can buy yourself some advertising space on The Sandberg Institute. There is no direct link to the the advertisers so its more of a colourful and tacky way to design your building. Read more here (via: Product Dose)

If
your idea of romantic or fun is dangling in the sky while trying to eat, and
you have a spare $15,000 then this is the dinner party for you. I suppose this is for corporate PR people
trying to throw the next most memorable party of the year, and here it is. Now I’m not afraid of heights and I enjoy
rock climbing but my observation is this. At dinner you’ll most likely drink so do you really want to be eating
good food, getting drunk and be dangling in the air? What happens when you need to use the toilet? Dinner in the Sky here, Read more here (via:OhGizmo!)

This
is an idea for geeks like myself. Coffee tables are relatively useless but everyone’s got to have one, so everyone is always trying to buy the coolest looking one, so why not try making
your own. A set of instructions found
here will guide you through making your own pinball coffee table. This is definitely something I want to try!

Zune has been floating around the internet for a while now. Seems that this Microsoft driven product is not only an iPod killer but its going to create for Microsoft yet another bridge for there new ‘Live Anywhere’ platform, portable social networking. Not too sure how this will work but basically it will be able to play mp3, look at “MySpace” type social network pages and one would assume some basic video gaming if its ‘Live Anywhere’. News on the street is that this machine will cost $399US!! That's the cost of an Xbox 360, but a lot cheaper than a mini notebook. Is it me or are all new portable products aiming to be slick looking, simple access portable computers. Read more here and here (via Engadget & Joystiq)

B-Flex Hi-Fi Stereo USB Speaker
We all love useless USB plug in gadgets, as an ex road warrior who
lugged his labtop all over the place this sort of speaker really appeals to
me. Basically you get a 2-Watt speaker
that will do much better then your notebook speakers (well in most cases
anyhow) and seems to be really handy. I
guess now all we need to do is look for notebooks with USB plugs on either side
of the keyboard and your set!
Here are the specs:
Input Power: USB 5V
Drivers: two 36mm paper cone drivers
Output: 1 W per channel
Freqency range: 200 - 20,000 Hz
Resonant frequency: 200Hz
Signal to noise ratio: >80db
Weight: 2.8 oz
Dimensions: 3.25in W x 7in H x 1.25in D
Requirements: PC or MAC with free USB port
No drivers needed for use with Win 98/2000/XP (R), MAC OS(R), and GNU/LINUX(R)
Kernel 2.4 and above.
Interested parties should
check it out here. I’d get one but I
don’t travel as much as I used too (via: Gizmodo)
