New Super Mario- my first impressions

I’ve only been playing NSMB for a few days now, and I’m really enjoying it. I must admit that a lot of it has to do with nostalgia but there are a lot of really cool touches that were put into the game that make you realize this is NEW Super Mario. The graphics and animation are amazing; perhaps the best word would be crisp.  Unless platforms just really don't do it for you then this is a game that you should be buying once you find your DS sitting around in neglect.  My only gripe about this game is that you can’t save whenever you want; you’re only allowed to save every few levels or whenever you unlock a new level. I haven’t touched the multiplayer yet but I tend to play through single player before I get into multiplayer aspects of games. I’ve got a feeling this game will reside in my NDS for a long time.
