And the Revolution is ... Wii!

Nintendo finally unveiled the name of the Revolution and its now Wii. For me the jury is still out on this one.  I have a sneaking feeling that this is going to be one of those names that grows on you.  I've said it a few times and already its sounding better.  Yeah i know it sounds like Wee as in Pee, but basically you can take the piss out of any name.  I just hope the system has great games

Adjustable brightness on old DS??

This has potential hoax written all over it, but people are claiming that there is hack out there that allows your old DS to adjust its screen brightness in the same way as a DS lite. So basically the buzz around the net is that DS Lite is only a nice new shell! Read more here (via:Kotaku)

P(LOT) – camping in a parking spot

ViennaSome crazy art/design idea on display in Viennais a car like tent. The basic idea is being able to use car parking as a temporary living space. Might be a nice way to give homeless a nice looking home, but sleeping over potential toxic fluids that might have leaked out of a parked car isn’t such an inviting idea. (via:we-make-money-not-art)

Lumines 2

My favorite game for the PSP (and till this day the only reason I would want to buy a PSP) is about to release a 2^nd version. More skins and new music, I hope they include an online competitive. I’ve yet to get a PSP but it still remains the only game I want to buy a PSP for. (via: Kotaku)

E-ink news reading revolution on the way?

PDA’s were suppose to replace the need for books, that didn’t really happen, why because screens can be very tiring on the eye if you stare at them for too long. However with the recent e-ink  about to drop behind Sony’s e-ink reader even big names like the New York Times is buying into the idea of distributing on e-ink readers. I’m not sure why you would want this gardening joke / piece but if you have the kinda grass that you can lift off in pieces, you can slip this cardboard armchair under layers of your grass and just sit out on your lawn.  Only thing you’ll have to worry about is ants in your pants. Get one here (via:Oh!Gizmo)

Sennheiser – sporty earphones

I’ve only ever owned one crazy pair of earphones and those were B&O earphones but these new sport range earphones from Sennheiser just might be my next pair of expensive earphones. The reason, basically they are designed for sports, lately I’ve discovered that most earphones just don’t hack it when it comes to sports and on top of that Sennheiser is a brand that I trust. I do have questions about the sound quality, if they will be comfy when sweat is pouring down your head and if they are sound canceling. If I find out more and they fufill my requirements I’ll invest in a pair. Read more here (via:Gizmodo)

Caplio R4 – Monster Zoom

I’ve been wondering when a compact camera like this would drop, its got a 28-200mm equivalent 7.1x barrel lens.  No clue if its fully manual or if it's a decent snap, but finally a compact which can get some decent depth of view portrait fuzziness!  (via:engadget)

FF3 DS

I’ve never played any of the Final Fantasy series, when 1 and 2 were remade for the GBA I tried, but I just couldn’t keep interested long enough.  3 is suppose to be the greatest of the originals and this remake is looking just absolutely nuts!  I just might have to force myself to play this one, more screens here (via:4cr)
