Songbird – the next big musical thing?

Seems everyone is out to get iTunes, Songbird just might be the one! And isn’t the logo adorable!  From what I understand basically Songbird is a browser that sees the Internet in terms of MP3. So you can search any Mp3 that is available somewhere on the internet and have a listen.  The Songbird project was lead by ex-WinAmp-er Rob Lord. This isn’t meant to be the newest way to pirate music but just a way you can listen to music that’s available online, and here’s the catch phrase of the internet its ‘open source’.
