Iconz iPod Video Cases

I’m not one to normally report on iPod products because I don’t own one and I have a pet peeve against iPod but these skins are really cool.  For $30 USD you can get one here and get basically and get all sorts of iconic prints for your iPod video.  I have one friend who is an Apple lover, but he also loves Batman, Superman Star Wars and Opera (no not the browser, and yes it is odd). NES retro gadgets – not that impressed this time

Normally anything NES is good, but somehow these 2 combos just don’t do it for me.  The NES used as a clock just doesn't look that good with the lid lifted up, and well this DS looks REALLY strange, maybe that's just because my DS is already NES colour themed. (via: Joystiq)

Computer down again

To my horror my notebook CL56 has been on the fritz again, which explains the lack of posting all week, I'm going to get it checked out tmr.  Hope to be posting again soon

Official NDS colours – looks like I’ll be waiting

Hrmm I was hoping that there would be some more interesting retro like colours, but it seems that the first 3 offical colours are ice blue, navy and white. The new stylus will be a bit thicker and longer too. (via:ign)

Plustek Slim Feeding Scanner – wow that really small

I suppose this sort of scanner is aimed at business men and sales men that are ALWAYS on the go. Looks nice, its small and can run of USB.  If I needed one I’d probably get one btu it seems it can only scan A4 size documents. Get one here for 1$120 USD. (via:Gizmodo)

DS Lite - A reason NOT to get a white one

These are all obviously demos of the NDS Lite, my girlfriend has a white NDS, and its no where near as yellow as these demo versions.  I hope Nintedo hasn't downgraded the quality of plastic so much that they would turn YELLOW!!  I'm still waiting for those retro colours to bust out for the NDS lite. Songbird – the next big musical thing?

Seems everyone is out to get iTunes, Songbird just might be the one! And isn’t the logo adorable!  From what I understand basically Songbird is a browser that sees the Internet in terms of MP3. So you can search any Mp3 that is available somewhere on the internet and have a listen.  The Songbird project was lead by ex-WinAmp-er Rob Lord. This isn’t meant to be the newest way to pirate music but just a way you can listen to music that’s available online, and here’s the catch phrase of the internet its ‘open source’. USB Cufflinks – wearable geek

OK this whole wearable USB drive stuff is getting ridiculous. I was down with the braclets, and I could live with a tie clip (which I’ve yet to see) but cuff links!! Common cufflinks are suppose to be something for the stylish guy, it has a certain amount of prestiege and isn’t meant to be made cheap by putting some USB drives in them.  No clue how much storage the drives hold, but these things are just too big to look good as cuff links.  (via:Engadget)
