‘Safe Beside Table’

I’m not sure if this is a joke or a serious product design.  With the whole war on terror everyone is scared brainless about home security these days, however I do have to say it would be hilarious for a house robber to get sent to jail and admit that he got clubbed by a bed side table. Its not very pretty but it’s a pretty good idea, just make sure you don’t put an expensive lamp or easily breakable items on it at night before you sleep. Read more here (via:Gizmodo)
