Hot Lids – Smart lids

I can’t remember the number of times I’ve burned my lips or tongue taking a sip of latte.  This is an interesting take-away cap that is normally colored brown and becomes bright red to indicate that the contents of the cup are *&Q@# hot.  Basically that means you can take one look at your take-away coffee and know if you’re going to burn your lips or be able to drink your coffee.  This is a very cool idea and apparently its cheap enough to mass market and will soon become the norm for coffee cups.  Man I wish I was the entrepreneur who dreamt up this one.  Read more here (via:Gizmag)
