I’ve never heard about this material but apparently its been around since 1930’s. It’s the world’s lightest solid that is 99.8% air, 1000 times less dense then glass but is 39 times more insulating than glass. Primarily something used by NASA this material has been receiving more funding and under going more research. Wonder when we’ll see this stuff being used commercially!
