I can't decide what type of person this is for. An avid garderner who loves Disney's Aladdin or someone who likes to waste a lot of money on designer stuff so that they can tell friends that they have this super elite watering jog. You'll drown the genie once you fill them with water so make sure you make your wishes before you start watering plants. (via:Oh!Gizmo)

Yet another unfortunate name, I really hate the whole i-name thing that has started since i-pod. I mean Osim has a hand held massager called i-pamper and a chair called i-desire. Somewhere on my blog I wrote about i-duck ( a stupid rubber duckie) and now Toyota have gone and made something cool and called it something very stupid. These personal mobility movers don’t’ seem to be design so much for paraplegic as much as for rich fat people to lazy to walk but they’re still cool and the first step towards having really useful wheelchair technology for those who really need it. I thank God that I can still walk everyday. Anyhow the i-swing has joystick control and like a lot of other personal mobility vehicles can be steered by shifting your weight around in the mover. Apparently steering is similar to skiing. When moving at walking speed the i-swing operates on 2 wheels, the third wheel comes into use when you bring the i-swing onto the road. Its pretty nuts that it can be nimble enough for pedestrians and powerful enough for the road. Crazy technology wonder if we’ll ever see it available to the public. Read more here (via:Gizmag)

If you just have to have a 2 wheel vehicle and your looking for some luxury then this is the bike for you. This new Yamaha scooter is huge, supposedly quite fast, quite steady and luxurious. Now I don’t know squat about motorcycles or scooters but I do know that most people like the whole wind, noise and speed thing. However with the Gen-Ryu you might just get wind and speed, with sound canceling design, the gen-ryu is suppose to allow its rider to answer mobile phones. If that’s true this really is a limousine with 2 wheels, the question is do you hire a driver? Read more here (via:Gizmag)

Wow Nokia is really starting to get the whole fashion phone thing really right. Last year for Christmas I bought the old 7380 (the phone that looks like a giant lipstick) for my girlfriend, and she said without keys it became very tedious, worst of all you will lost all patience to text message. However if you want the bling then this is the phone for you, they’ve pumped up the camera to 2 mega pixel (this time with flash), plays mp3’s and they’ve added voice dialing. Tech spec wise the 7380, has the most umph. The rest are just dressed up Nokias with the 7370 adding in a Motorola-like swivel. Read more here (via:Gizmag)

No seriously this thing was designed for tree huggers by Dutch designer Dre Wapenaar. Designed in 1998 for British activists trying to save trees, the idea, climb up tree, attach the Treetent and you have cozy accommodations that can house a house family of tree-hugging green peace protesters trying to save trees. This giant Christmas ornament is a pretty funky looking design but I really wonder how safe it is. (via:Oh!Gizmo)

Now its quite obvious this is a gag but if this game ever came out I can think of several friends who would be running off to the stores to pick up a DS or begging to borrow mine. This does raise the interesting idea of those sex/date game sims that Japanese gamers seem to love so much. With the whole “touch” thing going for the DS there is bound to be some date sim coming out for the DS at some point. (via:4cr)

Seems one of my favourite anime’s of the moment is going to come to the DS. I don’t know much about the game, but it could be interesting, now if only I could get my favourite fan sub group to do the translation. My guess is that this game will focus very little on the actual American football aspects and more on the personal battles of the characters in the game, e.g. going nuts jamming on the DS in order to have run to a spot to catch a pass or make an opening in the defense. I’m too lazy to try and make my own pc case (and I love my notebooks too much) but I still love crazy case designs. This one made from cardboard is probably a fire hazard but it would still be cool to show off to the friends when they come over. (via:ubergizmo)
