First we had the iTunes 5 and Windows problem, now it seems that people are opening up there eagerly awaited nano’s to find them marred with scars. The official Apple statement is as follows, “his is a real but minor issue involving a vendor quality problem in a small number of units. Our figures show this issue has affected less than 1/10 of 1 per cent of the total iPod nano units that we've shipped. It is not a design issue." (Apple official) I must admit I take a certain pleasure in reporting Apple stuff ups, but I feel bad for the new owners, its like buying a new hand held system only to discover a dead pixel in the dead centre, enough to drive you mad!
