Sharp is about to release a new phone in September that will feature a 3-megapixel CCD camera phone. A whole bunch of technology went into this phone to allow it to have the first all-internal 2x optical zoom function. If they get this right you will be able to take clear pictures on your mobile phone and print up 3R size photos! I guess we’re getting closer and closer to making small portable cameras obsolete! Nintendo has finally confirmed that on September 16th during the Tokyo Game Show everything about the Nintendo Revolution will be revealed. Almost everyone is mainly eager to hear about the Revolution controller which is suppose to be mind blowing and change games. I personally hope Nintendo finally get this console right, because if they screw up another one, they’ll be out of the console wars and living off handhelds. In related news there has been more supposed leaked Revolution controller specs floating on the internet, this time there is some mention of a Magnetic Touch Panel, I guess we’ll just have to wait till Sept 16th to see whats true or not. A while back I blogged about the NES control pad belt buckle. It was geek fabulous (ok I’m trying to coin a new phrase, sound like ghetto fabulous) and I’m sure the belt wouldn’t look that bad. I’m sure NEBUCKLE.com either did really well or are getting desperate because they started taking all sorts of controllers and making belts out of them, I’m sorry but the Atari buckle just looks ridiculous and not to mention very phallic. Evian must be rather desperate for promotions or there is some real perverted loser working over at Evian. This bikini bra can be filled with Evian water which can be used for both drinking and cooling, now I have no idea if women get particularly hot when sun bathing in the chest region but this has to be one of the stupidest fashion/gadget/advertisement/perverted ideas around. The Evian bikini bra being able to cool its wearer is supposed to help firm up tanners bodies as well. This is just stupid! (via:Oh!Gizmo)
Whoever is designing phones over at Samsung really needs to get some sort of award. A while back I blogged about an upcoming Samsung phone that will have a 5 mega pixel phone with a 3X optical zoom. Although I have no idea when that camera phone is going to come out, this new Samsung phone is due out in the 3rd quarter of 2005. What does it feature? For starters its an mp3 playing phone that has a 3 GB HDD which means roughly 1000 songs. On top of that it runs on Windows Mobile OS which I suppose means you can somewhat use it like a PDA. I am a notebook person. I think notebooks are great and once you get used to having a desktop replacement being able to move your computer around just becomes a priceless ability. Though I think a 19 inch monitor notebook is a bit too large to be mobile, the new beast of a computer M70 will be able to detach its screen allowing it to stand like a monitor on your desk, allowing for better viewing angles, I think this is a great idea and I hope it doesn’t get patented so that a lot of notebook producers being releasing a similar design.
