Venturi Fetish Electric Car

I'm not really a big car person but I've recently come across this car.  The Venturi Fetish is the world first production electic sportscar.  Its limited to 170km/h, does 0-100 km/h in under 5 seconds and a range of 350 km on a full charged battery.  The battery charges at a rate of 1.6Km per minute so its a relativel quick charge.  The car was designed with the intention of showing that electic cars can be high performance cars.  The one downside is that the car is almost entirely silent and doesn't have satisfying growl that you would expect from most high performance sports cars.  Read more here  (via: Gizmag)
