Seems that Nintendo has racked up another patent, this time its for tilting controllers. I guess a lot of people will be getting sued or writing checks to Nintendo real soon. I love the fact that they’re innovators but its scary how once they innovate the own it almost monopoly like. (via:engadget)

The Z-agon prototype could change our living rooms for good. Now a days we all arrange our living rooms to face the television. Now imagine we could arrange them the same way we would a dining room and we could all watch tv! That’s what the Z-agon is all about, being developed by Keio University in Japan this cube is wireless and has television surfaces on all side, the Z-agon is capable of displaying different channels on different faces and is uses a built in camera for video conferencing. As it’s a university development don’t expect to see this released commercially anytime soon (or ever). However this is possibly the best new form for a television that we’ve ever seen as we’ll be able to change lay outs of the living room. Read more here (via: Oh!Gizmo)
Breast enlargement is a huge market, but more and more I get the feeling that penis extension is no longer just a silly joke. Seems this device is the real deal in adding 3-4 inches in a non surgical way. If this sort of thing interests you check it out here, personally i think this device looks very scary (via:Gizmodo)
This sort of thing strikes me as a product for kids and people that really want to annoy other people in public places. It’s a watch, that frankly is quite ugly but, you can change channels and change the volume of any television. As I said I can’t really see why anyone would need one of these asides from wanting to change the channel of a bar television or shop display television with out being noticed. If you really want to catch the big game, you should just sit yourself in front of your own television. (via: Gizmodo)
Here is a very interesting article about drug reference in video games. It seems that Nintendo’s Super Mario brothers might be just an elaborate druggy joke made by hallucinogenic Japanese game designers. The whole having a mushroom that makes you bigger, hitting the pipes, everything being alive like the bushes and random things like turtles who are out to get you! Russian aerospace engineers are developing an inflatable pod that can be used to jump from buildings and safely land on the floor. Made from fire safe materials this weird pod is probably being designed to feed off and profit from 9-11 fears that still run strong in many people. (via: engadget)
Kick Ass Kung Fu is some virtual reality game where martial artist get to do Kung Fu on top of some large matt, jumping around kicking and punching and through motion capture cameras the real life moves are translated into the video game. Now the thing I wonder is, if your really into martial arts and video games do you really want to run around doing shadow boxing to watch your virtual self kick a computers butt. Or would you rather really spar and just play video games when you want to play games. The other thing I was wondering about is if your some fat ugly geek that thinks he knows Kung Fu from watching too much Pride FC then will your ugly form be displayed in the game too?
