Wavecase, Scuba dive with your cell phone

I’ve dived a few times, now I really can’t see why anyone would need to bring there cell phone with them while they dive.  I can’t think of anyway that you could talk while diving, and with gloves on its probably impossible to text message.  The other question I have is will you get reception?
