PSP dead pixels and underclocking

I love my DS, lately been thinking about buying a PSP, Lumines is just too damn addictive  This kind of news really deters me, it seems that some owners have sent there dead pixel PSP to Sony, received a PSP with even more dead pixels.  Read the forum thread here.  It seems an Aussie blogger has discovered that the PSP is underclocked at 222MHz. The hardware of the PSP should be capable of 333Mhz. There were probably many reasons such as battery life and heat concerns which resulted in the underclocking of the PSP. But many people around then net are wondering if there will be a PSP 2.0 released in the future with even more juice under the hood. Read about it here (Via: Gizmodo)
